Just went on a shaky adventure with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson in San Andreas (2015)! This disaster flick throws California into chaos with a massive earthquake. The Rock plays a Los Angeles firefighter racing against time to save his ex-wife and daughter as the state crumbles around them.

The action is big and loud, with collapsing buildings and devastating tsunamis creating a thrilling (though sometimes cheesy) spectacle. The Rock is his usual charismatic self, even when facing down a collapsing freeway.

The science behind the earthquake might be a bit wobbly, and the plot is fairly predictable. But for a popcorn flick with Dwayne Johnson punching his way through a Californian disaster, San Andreas delivers a shaky but entertaining ride.
